🍅 2 1/2 pounds peeled, chopped and drained sauce tomatoes
🧅 3/4 c. onion, chopped
🫑 1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped
🌶 1 -2 jalapeños, finely chopped (remove seeds)
🧄 2 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. freshly grown black pepper
1/2 tsp. sea salt or kosher salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 c apple cider vinegar
1/2 c tomato sauce
1/2 c tomato paste
Combine all of the ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often.
Fill jars and refrigerate, or process in a water bath canner for 15 minutes. Makes 3-4 pints
